Bramora Ltd is a financial investment company owned by Per G. Braathen and his immediate family.
Bramora focuses primarily on investments with a stable yield. The company has been present in Malta since 2011. The portfolio currently includes aircraft on long term leases and financial investments. The aim is to continue developing Bramora as a financial investment company in the coming years.
Per G. Braathen and his immediate family also own Braganza AB, an industrial investment company focusing on aviation, travel and leisure in the Nordics. The main portfolio companies are BRA (Braathens Regional Airlines), Sweden’s second largest domestic airline, Norway’s largest amusement park “Dyreparken”, and Scandinavia’s leading leisure travel agency Ticket Travel Group. The majority of Braganza’s business is located in Sweden.
Our companies
Bramora Ltd has acquired three new ATR 72-600s through separate subsidiaries. The ATR 72 model has a global presence and is the most common turbo-prop aircraft used in commercial passenger traffic.
Long term financing of the aircraft is secured from commercial banks active in the aviation industry. All aircraft have contracted long term leases with BRA and provide a stable annual return.
Team
Göran Skantz
Göran is responsible for operations at the Bramora office in Malta and manages the day to day operations for Bramora Ltd and subsidiaries, including Bramora’s relationships with various local partners. Göran is present in Malta on a regular basis.
Göran has an MBA from the University of Gotheburg in Sweden. He has extensive travel industry experience as internal auditor and corporate business controller at the Spanish airline Spanair and CFO and member of the management team of Mallorca based SunHotels.
Roberta Bennetti
Finance and Office Manager of Bramora since 2017. Previous experience from various departments including Human Resources, Purchasing and Finance, and Administration at Bavarian Technology Systems, Siegfried Malta and MSB Valletta.
After attaining her MBA in 2007 from the University of Malta, she holds a Diploma in Insurance Studies and is currently studying to become a qualified accountant certified by ACCA. (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).
Board
Owner
Owner of Braganza and Bramora Ltd and Chairman since respectively 1992 and 2015. Braathen is Chairman or a board member of a number of Braganza's group companies. Braathen is also Chairman of Scandic Hotels AB and he is an industrial advisor to EQT.
He has extensive experience in the aviation and tourism industries as a former CEO/Chairman of several tour operators including Saga Solreiser in Norway, Always in Sweden and Tjæreborg in Denmark, Norway and Finland. Braathen holds an MBA from Schiller University, London.
Geir Stormorken
Managing Director of Braganza since 1996. Groupwide responsibility for M&A and strategic banking and finance issues. He is Managing Director and Chairman of the board of Braathens Aviation AB.
Previous experience from Braathens (SAFE), Elcon Securities and Volvo Norway. MSc in Business and Economics, NHH (Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration), 1986.
Joe Cappello
Joe Cappello had a 35 year career at Air Malta, where he was employed between 1976 and 2011. His responsibilities included numerous executive positions, and in 2006 he became Chief Executive Officer of the airline until his retirement from the Company five years later in 2011.
Following Air Malta, he spent the next four years as Executive Director at SMS, a group of companies involved in travel, shipping, insurance and freight. He also sat on the Board of Orange Travel Group, a cruise specialist operating from Malta, Tunisia, Greece and Cyprus. Between 2015 and 2017 he was an Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister of Malta, where he was involved mainly on EU matters.
During his career Joe has had various board and advisory positions such as director on the Board of the National Tourism Authority of Malta, Aviation Advisory Board, Chairman of the Foundation of Medical Services, and Chairman of the Airport Charges Regulatory Board. Joe is a graduate in Economics from the University of Malta.
